Every Week New Brighton Farmers’ Market hosts live music from talented local musicians.

We have a very talented trio that comprises,  Peter Hunt, Bobby Alu, and Clinton Lester. Each one of these musicians is formidable in their own rights.  Having been and still remain focal men in bands such as Kooi & OKA, they have also embarked on solo careers. However, lucky for us they love to come together for a market jam. You never know what you’re going to get, or where they’re going to take you, but it’s always a journey you want to be on. For any musical nerds out there the musicianship in itself should be enough to entice you along for this special treat.

Kiddies Plot

Families love the market because there’s always something to keep the kids busy. In the Kiddie’s Plot, little ones can get creative with hands-on activities like gardening and permaculture, screen-printing and arts and crafts.
