We are so happy to have another sunny forecast for the market tomorrow.

During all that rain we have barely been able to get our new T-shirts out. Although that hasn’t seemed to stop them from selling like hotcakes. We are fast running out of sizes so be quick if you want one.

As per usual we have some great music lined up for the morning and our Kiddies Plot will return in the next few weeks!

Every Week New Brighton Farmers’ Market hosts live music from talented local musicians.

This week we are lucky to host ‘It’s Probably Us

Guitarist/singer John Bushelle played in Sydney’s Northern Beaches bands Mudlark
and Lion Idol, toured extensively with different bands, also composing music for
films. After moving to the North Coas, he has worked as a solo performer as well as
in a number of duos and local bands, also winning a Dolphin Award for songwriting.
Guitarist/singer Michael Pelmore has worked as a musician for the last 25 years in
Australia as well as in his native England and Europe, playing solo, in duos and also as a
member of various musical companies. He has released 2 very successful CD’s of
children’s songs, Dr Maxwell Pelican’s ‘Get Well’ and ‘Well Well Well’, for both of
which he has received Dolphin Awards.
Michael and John’s huge repertoire covers many areas of music, from gentle harmony
based acoustic songs to blues, rock and a lot of original songs of different styles.
They have a great ability to tailor music to fit any occasion, have played at most
venues in Byron Shire as a duo or band, with their rhythm section, for many years and
have also been regulars at the local Farmer’s Markets since they started.

Kiddies Plot

Families love the market because there’s always something to keep the kids busy. In the Kiddie’s Plot, little ones can get creative with hands-on activities like gardening and permaculture, screen-printing and arts and crafts.
